Join us as we celebrate our donors, volunteers and advocates who consistently demonstrate what it means to Live United. We recognize the work and dedication of all of our community partners who help to improve lives in the Fox Valley area.
This year, we are excited to welcome Sean Noble, Illinois State Director of ReadyNation.
ReadyNation is a nonpartisan, nonprofit network of business leaders who strive to improve workforce skills and economic development through greater focus on key, research-proven investments in children's learning and well-being.
Noble has spent nearly 20 years in public policy work aimed at strengthening families and boosting opportunities for children to succeed, at the state and federal levels. Before joining ReadyNation in 2013, he served as policy director for the National Community Tax Coalition. Prior to that, he directed policy, advocacy and government-relations efforts at Voices for Illinois Children from 2001-2011. A former journalist, Noble spent more than a decade reporting for daily newspapers in Chicago, its suburbs, and central Illinois. He covered a wide range of topics, including education. Noble holds a B.A. in Journlism from Northern Illinois University and a Master's degree in Public Affairs Reporting from the University of Illinois at Springfield.
