You can help by donating below to ensure these families have the essential needs and support to get them back on track.
On September 15, 2025, a fire broke out in a six-story apartment complex in the 800 block of North Lake Street, forcing individuals and families from their homes and leaving many without the essentials they need. While the fire was quickly extinguished by the fire department, the building was deemed uninhabitable due to extensive smoke, water, and fire damage.
In moments like this, our strength is found in standing together. Our community has created a donation fund to support those affected by this tragedy as they begin the difficult process of recovery. Every contribution – no matter the size – will directly assist these individuals and families with their immediate needs while they are still displaced, as well as their future needs when they return home.
By giving, you are not only helping individuals and families recover from this loss, but you’re also showing them that Aurora is a community that cares. Please consider contributing to bring comfort, stability, and hope back to our neighbors.
